Mgr. Martin Mazanec

I'm a PhD. candidate with main research focus on site-specific factors (especially the Vs30 parameter) and their quantification for seismic hazard assessment.

In 2017 I graduated Applied geophysics master's degree at the Faculty of Science, Charles University.
Then I started a PhD. studies on topic "Aspects of seismic hazard assessment for the Czech Republic" under the supervision of Mgr. Jan Valenta, PhD. and advisor RNDr. Jiří Málek, PhD.

I have been working at the IRSM CAS since 2021.
