Currently, considerable attention is given to the study and air monitoring (monitoring of greenhouse gases, particulate matter, toxic elements and compounds) in connection with its purity, protection of human health and the environment. Carbonaceous particles are only a small part of the dust particles in the atmosphere, yet they have an impact on air quality, health, visibility and climate. Normally no one can realize how diverse mix of particles floating in the air around him. This can be determined by a combination of methods of optical and electron microscopy and chemical analysis of particles collected on special filters and dust from fallout. Each of these methods provides unique information and puts some demands on sample preparation and interpretation of the results ...
